Awesome. I appreciate it!
Do you feel they hide the pinch seam?
Ok, more crummy garage photos. Sorry they aren’t better - tried to show some of the “worst angles” to see the pinch seam. You really don’t see it, just those bolts I mentioned if you know what to look for. You can see mine a bit since they aren’t fully black.

I also included the measuring tape photo so you can see the actual gap.

Width of the step area is 4.5” by my measurement. I also included side profile shots so you can compare it against the fenders for a reference point.

I had factory Mopar steps on my JK Sahara, and for comparison these are definitely not any more difficult to use. They feel more sturdy and grippy if anything (but not painful on your feet).

I'm sorry I didn't get a measurement this AM! I will get some numbers tonight for you.

These do hide the pinch seam in my opinion. I'll get more photos for you tonight so you can decide for yourself, but I'm very happy with them - if you look closely you can see a bit of an angle in the steps, where they travel upwards at the point where they meet the Jeep - this helps them "hug" the vehicle and cover the pinch seam.

The *only* Feedback I had for @IronCrossAutomotive was that if they used black bolts for the bolts that bolt the brackets onto the Jeep (coming from the side going in toward the Jeep), it'd be even harder to see anything. The ones they are using now are standard dull silver bolts - and if you are super picky like I am, and know exactly where to look, and hit it at just the right angle, and have adequate light..... you can barely make out the head of the silver bolt.

My fix was to use some touch up paint to dab the those 6 bolt heads black (3 on each side of the vehicle). If you do that before you put the steps on, you will be golden. I did it after the steps were on, so it was tougher for me to reach my hand in there to get access.

I'm a pretty picky person. I probably looked at over 100 photos of side steps to compare all the options, and I wound up with these - and have been happy with the result!
Kindred spirits. I have a file full of pics. I like the Roams, but can’t make contact (which leaves me feeling pretty uneasy about asking them to be shipped across the border). I’m a huge fan of the LOD Destroyers, but they aren’t in production yet.

The Iron Cross are available through Northridge 4x4, who are great, and have a store in Canada. I’m leaning in that direction...

Come back and take a second look, lol - only about half of them uploaded on my first try. I just edited the post to get them all in there for ya. Hope this helps.
Great shots - I’m confident those will help protect the side of Gamora from the gravel pit that the KO2s insist on throwing up at her.

Really helpful. Thanks so much.

I would have bought the Roam steps but I just don't liked the cutout of the logo name. I'm glad I waited. If Iron Cross can make theirs without a hideous logo, why can't Roam? I know, I know...there's a plate to put on the back of Roam but the scar is still there. Thank you for the photos of the Iron Cross steps, I'll be placing my order for two sets, my wife and I like these much better. Plus, they have a forum discount!

Excellent! My favorite part about the steps might be the team behind them. They were awesome to work with.

Note - these steps DO come with a small metal (I think?) logo that is stuck on the side of each step with adhesive. Mine was very lightly applied, which was great - it made it easy for me to reposition if I wanted to move it and/or to remove it altogether. Using nothing but my fingers (no tools, solvents, etc) I just pulled them off. Debadged in ~5 seconds each. No residue left behind.

Just didn't want anyone to see stock photos and assume there is a screwed on logo that can't be removed easily or something like that.

I always preferred Grizzly step bars on my truck, but after seeing the pictures of FrenchSSGTMike's Jeep, I really like those Rock Rails!!!

That's what I should have done. I already have a weld or two trying to rust just from rain. I hope to hit the areas with weapon shield or something this weekend.

My Roam side step is coming next week, I'll drop off at local Line X shop to apply them before I'll get my mopar lift installed.

I purchased the ACE Engineering Rock Sliders and installed them last night.

The finish leaves a lot to be desired. Scuff marks on both sides and two little areas on the passenger side are down to bare metal. Rather than package it back up and ship them back I will just touch them up myself. Not too happy about it though as it'll surely rust if I don't fix it.

The fit was perfect as is the overall build quality. Absolutely no issues with creaking or rubbing. It took me about 15 minutes per side (with a helper to hold it up).

I'm not 100% sold on the looks. These things have a weird optical illusion that's tough to explain. Unless you are right up on the Jeep, you don't even notice that they stick out and can be used as a step. It's due to slight upward angle. I'll try to get some pics to show what I mean but I may opt for something different when more options are available.

EDIT: Edited to add pics

When my ROAM steps arrived they were pretty beat up, the box had definitely had a hard time but the packaging was also not adequate to prevent metal on metal contact. I sent them pics and they shipped me another pair, which arrived in much better condition, albeit still a couple small bare metal scuffs that i painted myself. Don’t let the manufacturer get away with sending u damaged goods...
