Recently bought a wrangler unlimited wills edition
I’m just not sure what rear end and front end we have..... are they all Dana 44s?
And what about the standard gearing in the eight speed versions

I can see nothing on our window sticker showing what we have

this is a 2.0turbo Jeep if that matters

The front will be a m186 (D30).
It the rear drain plug is directly at the bottom of the the housing (pointing down) it's the m200. The m220 rear has the drain on the driver side front of the housing pointing left <-.

The Willys package includes the rear limited slip, which means every Willys has the rear m220.

Do note that the Rubicon has a wider axle. So the "standard" m220 on the Willys (and every other non-Rubicon) is slightly narrower than the Rubicon.

Thanks

I’m new to these Jeep’s and was getting confused. Now that y’all have cleared it all up I can move on to other questions

I’m assuming I have a 3.73 gear too.

Nope, 3.45 is standard on all gas non-Rubicon models. Diesel and I believe the High Altitude is 3.73 and Rubicon is 4.10.

Odd as it seems that the rpm versus mph seems to match what my gladiator was pulling.
No biggie

I don’t plan on altering it any time soon

From 3.45 to 3.73 is not that big of a jump, could be a tire size difference too.

I posted in the JLU order guide thread about this as well, but posting the same question here since there is an ongoing discussion...

I see that recent order guides only show the Dana M200 as standard equipment with the JLU RHD and with Saharas with an automatic transmission. This seems to indicate that all JLU Sport models now come with an M220, regardless of transmission selection or LSD. Can anyone confirm that is the case?
