After you take the plate off the OEM steel bumper for winch to drop in, what nuts do you use to secure torx back in that you removed?

I used the Warn winch plate. It shipped with some nuts to replace the nutserts that are attached to the filler plate. If your winch plate kit didn't supply those, I suppose just grab some nuts that fit from the hardware store.

I am ordering an Artec winch plate since it is one solid piece compared to the Warn but does not seem to include those nuts. Thanks for the input,

@pangmaster Thanks for mentioning the Warn plate coming with them. Found the install instructions on Northridge and it gave the exact size for the nuts I am looking for!

Sure thing Jason! I hope your Jeep comes early. Waiting is the hardest part.

I used snap in plastic plugs, gotta save weight where you can. And I like the look better than bolts that are holding nothing. 3/8" (0.375 inch) Flush Mount Black Plastic Body and Sheet Metal Hole Plug

Interesting. I put the bolts back. I like the look of bolts that appear to be holding something instead of the look of plastic plugs in unused holes.
