It's a toss up between my Hoist-A-Cart and my tailgate table. I use the tailgate table constantly. Love it.

But the ability to take the hardtop off with the hoist by myself in about fifteen minutes is a total game changer.

Off road mods are great, but a Jeep is super capable on its own, even stock. It's practical things like these that are the real winners for me.

Do you have a manual or automatic? What dead pedal do you have?
The dead pedal is only for automatics, as it sits where the clutch pedal would be. I have the MORE dead pedal, and it's definitely a worthwhile addition.

Best non-factory mod worth every penny: Tazer Mini!

For $330, I have:
  1. Disabled ESS
  2. Reset the tire size, twice
  3. Activated the halos
  4. Disabled TravelLink and those annoying Weather Alerts
  5. Lowered the TPMS threshold
If you consider each dealer visit is $125, that's already $750 worth of savings...and counting.
For sure this, another great mod that is worth every penny. Even for silly stuff like back up camera “mirror” when you turn your blinkers on.

Trying to envision this but a picture would be great,
Not the best light but here you go.

Edit:
What you're looking at is (starting with what's on top of the cargo net I mentioned):
2 camp chairs
2 fleece stuff blankets/pillows
A camp rug
Hanging camp light
There's still room on the cargo net to stuff other soft incidentals.

Elsewhere on the roll bars are:
Hatchet
Folding Bow Saw
Jump Starter Battery
Tools (socket set, torx set, security allen key set, 2 adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers rags)
Work Gloves
Firestarters
Tire Repair Kit
Two Flashlights
Folding 100w Solar Panel
AAA-to-18650 Univeral Battery Charger
4 Ratcheting Tiedown Straps
Handful of Zip Ties
Duct Tape
First Aid Kit
Recovery Equipment (tree saver, tow strap, snatch strap, 4 shackles, 2 soft shackles, rope pulley, trailer hitch receiver shackle)
Fire Extinguisher
Viair Compressor
Camp Knife w/ seatbelt cutter (reachable from driver's seat when inverted)
and most importantly, bottle opener and wine corkscrew.

All that stuff is securely mounted on the sides and ceiling of the Jeep Cave. There is nothing on the cargo area floor. Practically speaking, my Jeep is still "empty".
Owning a 2dr Wrangler forces you to be a master of storage efficiency.

It’s worth every damn penny for #4 alone.

Edit to add my favorites for day-to-day driving in addition to the Tazer: the OCD console organizer and the Spiderweb shade.

Ok, kidding. The duck comes in second. The biggie has to be this...

...the cargo liner, not the raccoon. Although hauling raccoons is one reason I need the cargo liner. Moved 22 of them this summer.

Dude....you're like <THIS> close to having a trunk monkey. Bravo!

Other than my 1st lift and tire setup, everything that I've done to my Jeep has been well worth every penny spent. In my opinion, the best thing that could ever be done when lifting and adding larger tires, is spending the extra money on the parts that strengthen against the increased forces that accompany the lift and tires.

Here's a few smaller things that I would recommend...

For improved driver interaction, the EVC iDrive throttle controller and B&M Racing extended t-case lever.

A couple of stylish interior upgrades. The Angency6 red anodized aluminum freedom panel latches and the American Trail Products red anodized aluminum grab handle covers. The latter also serves as a more solid and hand filling grab point for climbing up and in.

Tier 1: Mods/accessories that improve quality of life:
  • Side steps for my short wife
  • Console organizer and tray (bought from the original US designer, not the Chinese knockoffs)
  • LED headlights
  • Hood struts
  • Hood decal to reduce sun glare
Tier 2:
  • Dashcam
  • Sunrider for Hardtop
I've been looking for the Original OCD Organizer. Where did you find it? Chinese crap on eBay is all I can find
I bought them on Amazon. Both the organizer and the tray. The Vehicle OCD designers were active on this forum seeking input from forum members.
