79 3/4 super close on my arched garage door. Height is 84 in the center and I have 6 foot of width that is 80 or higher.Do you happen to know the height of your vehicle when aired up? Thinking of doing the 3.5 on my Rubi but it's gonna be really close with my garage
Yes, it wasn't metal cloak but same height. Experience with that rig led me to want a little more lift with the new one as we do tend to hit desert dirt roads at freeway speed and I wanted more travel before getting in to the bump stops. The current xr still has the factory 35's and 3.5" mc springs. Plenty of room to go 37-39's when I decide to pull the trigger.are the pictures of your prior vehicle with the 2 1/2 lift”
Hey great looking Jeep. So the XR wheels have enough backspacing for the MC GC lift? No rubbing front control arms full lock and rear clear sway bar links ok? Thanks.3.5” MC GC lift with 37” Yokohamas (true to size, similar to the Nittos)
I measure exactly 7’ (84”) with the tent on. You could fit in 80” garage without issue if you don’t put a RTT on.
No issues on my rig. I stuffed tires during the lift install before installing springs and everything looked fine. I am running my wheels as true beadlock, so it pulls the tires out 1/2” on either side giving my tires a bit more clearance on the rear sway bar end links. I don’t know if it would be an issue otherwise. I’ve got 20k+ miles and two weeks in Moab on the setup without issue.Hey great looking Jeep.
