2 CD? I-pods???:whew:
any channel in Sirius has a library equivalent of 2 cds….yes. I mentioned cds.

I pod. Yes, I own one. can't find Pantera, S.RV., Jamey Johnson, Slayer, Waylon Jennings, eric Clapton, Beethoven, Jimi, Slipknot, albert King selection anywhere.

I would have said joe bonnamassa, but the blues station keeps playing the same one of his songs in perpetuity.

variety is the spice of life. currently trying to warm up to a few stations on satellite, but, they seem to have a music library that fits on 2 cds.

I was excited about the blues channel....

was.

the satellite stations are beating the same few songs into the ground. and, it just seems like i'm going to have to go I-pod.
Have you checked out Spotify? A buddy turned me on to it. There's a free version to get a taste. It won't give access to all songs of an artist, but still a bunch, and it only gives so many fast forward per day. I eventually started a monthly subscription for $9.99 iirc. Well worth it to open up everything you can think of. Used to do the ipod, but they nickel and dime you for every song and album.

Great choices, especially Pink Floyd - my favorite! Your list would make a bitchin' Greatest Hits thumb drive!

I would just add - Three Dog Night, The Eagles, Journey, Foreigner, ELO, Santana. ETC!! LOL!
It is my thumb drive, as well as the bands you added!!!

Foo Fighters!! (and Alice In Chains, Audioslave, Soundgarden, Bush, STP, Seether, Royal Bliss, Nine Inch Nails, etc). Marilyn Manson on occasion.

But then I'll get in the mood for some Van Morrison, Otis Redding, Dave Mathews, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Eagles, etc.

I'm all over the place like a few others here. But for the last year I mostly listen to No Shoes Radio on Sirius. Plays a decent variety and I love the Island feel to a lot of the music. I hit moods where I like to listen to old classic rock. My wife listens to The Soul/Motown channel most of the time.

I have Spotify Premium too. Of course we pay more in the U.K. £9.99. Nonetheless I consider it very good value.

At the moment I’m listening to Marcus King a lot and really enjoying Bob Dylan’s new album Rough and Rowdy Ways
