I'm probably an outsider here for music, but i love trance and house music, stuff i topically listen to is above and beyond, ilan bluestone, tiesto, deadmau5, Oliver Smith, daft punk too many to list. Trance is one of those genres of music i can listen to in any settings

Like @Headbarcode I am also all over the place. Lately I’ve been jamming, in no particular order:

-All Hell Breaks Loose
-Lamb of God
-Die Antwoord
-Charley Crockett
-Wu-Tang Clan
-Dropkick Murphy’s
-The Dubliners
-Mobb Deep
-Nas
-Butthole Surfers

And a lot of times I’ll just put on something by Red Letter Media- either Half in the Bag, Re:View, or Best of the Worst. But they’re not music. Well, Rich Evans’s laugh is music.

Hey Kluk where have you been??? I miss you. I don't listen to news period although I do read them online but just outta curiosity -how much mess did you make in your Jeep after you accidentally listen to news. :giggle: Hehe kidding!
:) I guess so far I've been very lucky and when on the very few occasions I overhear by mistake some whore behind the microphone I very quickly react and take a deep breath of fresh air , listening to Marzulli , Savage or Doug Hagmann works for me as an antidote

You are not alone Dave, I listen to a lot of Trance too - but mostly on my other car. I don't know why trance does not work that well with Jeep with open top - my thought is that Trance have to be enjoyed in a closed environment (or loudly enough) to actually feel the mood of the music. I like to speed on the highway with my CRV with the auto loudness on and playing Trance or Electronic music, the faster I go the louder the music gets. It is a heady experience.

For Jeep - it is mostly country and rock for me. I don't know why - maybe it has to do the open air and communing (not supernaturally) with the surrounding.
I enjoy the trance with the windows down, only had the freedom panels off a couple times but still sounds great, really helps having an aftermarket subwoofers to take the strain of the lows off the speakers, also added an aftermarket headunit that alone adds almost 2/3 more power to the speakers than having the stock unit. I'm no audiophile but the stock non alpine speakers don't sound too bad, still like to upgrade them in the future.
