Power duos! 650whp GT-R 500awhp 392

Nice GTR. I had an 2009, then got a 2011 a few years later. Didn't go too far down the mod tree though.

What mods are on the 392 to put 500 to the wheels? Can't wait for mine. Here's my Spyder. Doesn't make as much power as your GTR though! But it's easy to toss around and a great street car w/ catless headers. Makes about 450 and weighs ~2900.

Had a cool Boss 302 with a blower on it making 700 rwhp. On forgestar wheels running 285/305... full Kooks exhaust. Setup was bitching.

Love your Spyder & your former Boss 302! My 392 lives with a pony as well. Despite her weight she's still a lot of fun to toss around:

Nice rides you guys got. I thought this was a 392 mod thread. 😁😁.
Guess I’ll make my lowly contribution to pavement pounders.

Ya, I think we wandered a bit off topic. 😄
Love your C8, and your 69 too! Do I even want to ask what kind of horsepower that 572 is making?

I've got a "relatively" low deposit # with MacMulkin Chevy in NH for a C8Z that I'll be trading the Shelby for, hoping to have it by late next summer/fall, but that's only if they start production in late spring or early summer.

The 69 is around 895HP. It’s a crate high compression engine we have massaged to get a few more ponies out of. The car is light.

It is a fun ride. Only take it out a couple times a year.
I actually just picked the C8 up from a dealer in Cali a few weeks ago. Yea, I paid ADM. I have been looking for some time. The market is STUPID on them. They just got it in and it had the equipment I wanted, Z51 Mag ride front lift 3LT plus a few more options. I really should have just ordered but that is getting stupid also. The world has gone nuts.

Yea, bang for buck the C8 is a really fun ride also.

Good lord, that thing sounds bonkers!

And FWIW, I see no shame in paying an ADM. I'll be getting the Z without one, but only because I knew early on that I was going to want one, and I put a deposit down over 19 months ago with a high-volume dealer that doesn't charge them. But I did pay one on the Shelby, because it was more of a spontaneous decision, and the track-pack equipped ones were much harder to find.

A lot of people scoff at them, but that's their prerogative. The way I've always looked at it, is if you want the car and there's no way around either an ADM or a long wait, and you are comfortable with the additional cost then go for it.

Just my OP.

Your GT is a beast . And yep, the track pack is rare. I saw the carbon fiber wheels and spoiler and was yep, that's not your run of the mill GT500 (if you can call them that). I have contemplated the Z C8, but don't really know if I have the patience. Plus they are getting really hard to even get a slot for. 4 years. LOL MM Chevy is a solid Vette seller. I know a lot of dealers are now throwing ADM on orders. Again, the world has gone nuts.

Hi BCMgunner could you confirm the part number of the mopar jack base that you have? I too have a 392 and want to make sure I get the correct one. I am seeing 2 part number for the jack base, 1 old and 1 new. I assume it's the new one? Thanks-
