Share a pic or two of your build (no matter how far along) and highlight your favorite mod/upgrade! Mine was a dead heat between my front bumper and tubular doors, but now I'm partial to my (almost) 35's (they were installed today!).

P.s. Feel free to provide a list of all your upgrades/mods! Mine is included below :D

~2018 JLU Sport S~
-Barricade full-width front bumper w/ LED fog lights
-Under The Sun mesh grille insert
-Silver grille/headlight inserts (Sahara style)
-Smittybuilt X20 10,000 lb Winch
-Smittybuilt hitch receiver
-Hella 6" round auxiliary lights
-Red Rock 4x4 side armor/steps
-Mopar fuel door upgrade (custom painted)
-Mopar grab handles front/rear
-Rugged Ridge dashboard phone mount
-DV8 full-width rear bumper w/ integrated LED backup lights
-DV8 tail light guards
-EAG safari tubular doors front/rear
-Bikini style full length sunshade
-21" stubby antenna
-Smittybuilt air compressor (keep it stowed under my rear seats)
-Adventure mirrors and foot pegs (these became useless after installing tube doors)
-All weather floor mats front/rear (manufacturer escapes me at the moment)
-Rough Country 2.5" suspension lift w/N3 shocks (was actually 3" of lift front/rear)
-ProComp extreme alloy series wheels 17x9
-Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 hybrid tires (315/70R17)
-Tough guard hood deflector (pending install)

Cheers!

One of the simplest things! I painted the chrome grille inserts black to give it a much cleaner “black-out” look.

Smart. In retrospect buying the piece stock may have been less expensive and taken less time, but it was worth it. I got a nice clear matte finish on it and am proud of the work I did myself!

I could tell you, but then....
Still slow rolling things as I just recently made it back home to the US, but my favorite so far are my 17x9 Rugged Ridge XHDs in gunmetal.

Thought they set the stance nicely and liked that the gunmetal was a little different than most I see (black wheels on the white jeeps are the most common around here.) They also will work well with the 35s I’m going to add in a few months when it’s time to replace the original KO2s.

Other updates so far (trying to be more strategic at the moment since I can’t do everything at once) have included:

- Fox steering stabilizer
- MOPAR tailgate reinforcement and spare relocation kit
- MOPAR sill guards
- Rugged Ridge trail mirrors for when the doors come off
-24” Velcro cinch straps to bundle my soft top a little tighter so it’s out of the way and doesn’t flap in the breeze when down
- MOPAR winch hoop and grille guard.

All of which work well with my JLR and lifestyle and have me set up well for the next few additions.

Have you found that the sill guards impact the door seal? The most common thing I've heard is that the seal is compromised by the guards. Don't know how much truth there is to that.

There’s been no issue with the sill guards and door seals to date and they were my first addition after purchasing my Jeep in Aug 2018. I’ve noticed zero water, dust, or visible light intrusion around the door seals and sills so everything appears to be tight.

Just turned 21,000 miles and while I’ve not been through deep standing water, there have been some exceptional rains and moderate water I’ve driven through. I’d think if there were an issue it would have appeared at this point, especially with the additional spray created by the additional protrusion of the tires beyond the fender line when I added the wheels.

Hope this helps!!
