When the light comes on I take it to the dealer and say “please do the needful.”

With the Wave program I paid for like $75 of new air filters once and my most recent oil change was like $79. That’s it in 25k miles.

Tip for leases - around 6 months from lease termination, start looking at used prices online. Depending on the market (for instance, right now used cars are selling at a premium), you may be able to sell your car to a private buyer or even another dealer (Carmax, for example) for more than the payoff.

I just sold my 2017 Camaro SS for $3500 more than the payoff. And that was to the Jeep dealer I leased my JLUD from. I probably could have gotten $5000 selling to a buyer. But, I was getting a good deal on the lease, so it made sense to do it right then.
