Does anyone else have this cord on their rear driverside seatbelt? Doesn't look like it is doing anything but making it a pain for my kids to grab the seatbelt when sitting in a booster seat. Cut it off?

Thanks. It is only on this one, not the other two so its time to break out the scissors.

it is to keep the buckle from falling between the seat when you put the 40 side down.

It is the only one that has it, because it is the only one between the seats.

Highly annoyed my 6 yr old daughter...so I cut it too lol

You actually don't have to cut it.. the cord ends on a hook you can detach.. or.. you can try rerouting the cord so is not that annoying and still serves its purpose..

Haha this is funny as I was going through this exact experience last week. I ended up doing what @CaJLMetalHead said. I attached the hook on the other end of the bungee to a different place on the bottom of the seat. It’s still keeping the buckle out of the way when dropping the seat but it’s got more play so booster seat works much easier now.
