I need some guidance. My JL did not come with that mat either cuz some idiot put a speaker back there! If I order the mat, do I put it under or over the speaker? I couldn't find a YouTube for this either! Thanks in advance.
I bought the cargo tray...

I'm selling my mat, first $100 takes it

The lemon law thing was an example of certain laws and warranties that cover unforeseen issues buddy...

I know lemon law doesnt cover that...I am leagues away from being I'll informed
Wow, no need for the hostility. I understand your issues are frustrating, which is compounded by a lack of support. I wasn't trying to offend you. I was just trying to make sure you weren't over estimating your options, and thereby adversely affecting you dealings with the service department. I have no idea who you are, or anything about you. I have no way to know how well informed you are (or aren't). Unfortunately some people misinterpret what coverage they have. For example, some people will try to get wearable parts (such as brake pads, tires, filters, etc) covered under warranty. You mentioned the lemon law, so I thought you were implying it offered you some coverage in this situation. My mistake. Clearly you've got it covered, I'll butt out.

As far as I know there's no factory speaker for that compartment. The factory sub goes on the side (passenger side wall of cargo area). I suspect the speaker added is aftermarket. If you order the mat though, I'd put it under the speaker. Just seems like there'd be less vibration, and a cleaner look that way.

Thanks for responding to my joke. I actually have the 2dr, so the speaker is in fact mounted in the cubby area. Your suggestion to put the mat under the speaker is sound. hehe, get it?

Ha ha. I see what you did there. Love a good pun.

PS Good to know about the speaker in the 2 door. I didn't realize they did that differently, but it makes sense that they'd have to with the reduced space.

Notice how @JeepCares will not respond.

Crack a ridiculous joke and they'll be all over it.

And even if they do...I posted this stuff nearly a year ago.

Whatever, it's all good. I fixed the issues myself to the best of my ability.

Win some lose some..

They weren't "my" concerns...they were/are actual defected parts.

Thanks anyway

Your concerns with defective parts. They never said your concern was unfounded, or that the paint pictured wasn't defective. They acknowledged your complaint, and apologized for not knowing about the problem. Then they told you how to contact them directly for future issues so you don't get overlooked again.

Don’t be to quick to discount that the Lemon Law would not cover leaking.

My whole point is that "it's a jeep thing" shouldn't be so.

It's basically giving the FCA a HUGE pass to sell extremely sub-par quality to folks who spend a premium.

Love my Rubicon, but to be honest the quality of cosmetics and things here and there on delivery is somewhat offensive and disrespectful as a high paying consumer.

I am in the opposite camp - this thing is way better than I expected. '19 Rubicon 2D. Fit & finish are much, much better than I had imagined. The premium soft top is amazing in how easy it is on / off. Interior is awesome. One thing though, driver side sun visor broken. Anyone else ?
Another negative - the dealers aren't great on service & follow-up or workmanship. I knew it would be this way after years of owning other vehicles with exemplary service, but still...
