Oh wow. I saw a post a few months back about floor mats like these from China (I think). Wanted a couple hundred for them.

Those chinese floor mats are all over ebay for around $100

Problem with those is that if someone wearing high heels isn't careful, those mats will wind up with a hole in them. I have the same Chinese design mat just in the cargo area. Since they're slightly padded, it's more comfortable for people to sit there while I have the rear seats out.

Have both - the floor mats and cargo mats for over 1.5 yrs now. They are awesome. See full pics here;

No rips / tears or any other damage so far from regular use. Of course, my Jeep has never been in true off road mode as yet so there's no real abuse here, just a few camping trips.

Per my previous post, you're much less likely to damage the mats off-roading than you are going to the opera.
