I can add to my list of aftermarket regrets the Rugged Ridge tail light guards.

They looked good. But:
  1. They made it a PITA to clean the tail lights
  2. The passenger side rubbed against the Mopar tailgate reinforcement
  3. They were poorly engineered - the hex steel bolts holding them together reacted with the aluminum cage and seized up
Don't waste your money on these.

Grab handles. At least the ones I purchased. I hit my head on them every time I would enter/exit the vehicle and they also bounced around a lot making the jeep even more noisy.

Which ones did you get? Never imagined they'd be noisy of all things.

or the Mopar slush mats, which always look scuffed and filthy, no matter how much I clean them.
I personally really like the tray mats, they fit nice and keep all the water in, especially in Canada. I wash them monthly, gets dirty in a day, thats how it is I guess.

Stubby antenna.
Looked great, significantly reduced what I could tune in even though it was supposedly a "good" one. Went into the trash. Stock antenna was plasti-dipped and reinstalled.
My Ronin Industry .50 Cal Antenna has a better signal than the OEM antenna and looks great. Something to consider if you want a cleaner look and more clearance

That's impossible.
Radio waves are just under 11 feet long. An antenna 2.5% of the wavelength will never receive a radio signal as well as an antenna 25% of the wavelength. It will be exponentially worse (not just 10x worse) and will only work close to the broadcast tower.

Do not buy a stubby antenna unless you never leave the city. It won't work.

I think a bullet would be the last stylized thing I'd want on my vehicle...and I'm a bit of a gun enthusiast. I just don't want anyone to know that. Especially, when I'm not near my vehicle.

I don't care if my antenna looks like a giant penis, as long as it works better. However penis shape does not provide any improvement to radio reception whatsoever. Which is probably a good thing. 🤣

We'll not ask how you authenticated this finding.
