I'm researching new wheels and tires for my Gladiator Rubicon, and using the tire visualizers to determine what I want (clearance vs bulge past fenders). But I can't seem the find consistent information of what the factory wheels offset/backspacing is...does anyone know?

I prefer to keep my tread within the fenders (especially since PA is fairly strict on it), and therefore most likely going with 37x11.5 tires. Just trying to narrow down the the wheels with proper offset/backspacing to match the factory fender coverage...and still keep tire from hitting during turns.

PS- currently unlifted but would be installing a 2" Mopar lift.

I think I remember reading the stock wheels are +44 offset, but can't remember the backspacing...You'd probably have to just take a tape measure and flat-edge to it, and measure it out on a wheel with an unmounted tire.

Thanks. That was a number I'd seen at one place, but couldn't find it anywhere else to verify it. I didn't even think about just measuring it :headbang:

17X7.5 is the size of them
That I found on Jeep's site, but they don't list more information than that. Plus can't find stock ones on Mopar etc.

I was mostly looking at a 18x8 wheel with a +30mm

Which looks like it should be OK.

People have confirmed that AEV +25 will work for 37s in Rubicon/Max Tow, but I can’t comment on whether +30 would work. I’ll be putting AEV with 37s on a friend’s Rubi soon and could let you know how much clearance there is.

Measurement done on a set of Rubi take-off wheels that are setting in my garage right now ...

Just FYI -- The Mojave wheels have less offset than the Sport or Rubicon wheels, and thus will 'poke out' a little more.
Gladiator Sport/Rubicon: +44mm
Gladiator Mojave: +36mm

offset means the distance the mounting surface is from the center of the wheel.
