My Jeep's speed limit is based on my speed rating. That's set to 80 ish, but I like to keep it around 70 ish.Speed limited by system based on the tire rating on original tires, around 100.

You wouldn't have said that about my 2018 JLUR right out of the dealer. It was scary at 60mph. But a couple thousand bucks in steering and suspension, a new steering box and 3 years later it's pretty nice at 70-80 mph.Fact is just getting out of bed in the morning is dangerous. We do have some control over the risks we are willing to take. A stock JL is incredibly safe and well-mannered. I would argue that even a poorly-lifted JL on 37s is safer and better-handling than a stock TJ. And if you want to toss a YJ or CJ into the mix... you get the point. There's only so many layers of bubble wrap you can put yourself in and still get from A to B
I dunno, you don't want to go three-wide in a high speed corner, but even on 37s my 18 is very predictable and well behaved. Guess there were some poorly assembled examplesYou wouldn't have said that about my 2018 JLUR right out of the dealer. It was scary at 60mph. Lots of quality inconsistencies. Trackbar bushings, upper steering shaft, & steering box mostly.I dunno, you don't want to go three-wide in a high speed corner, but even on 37s my 18 is very predictable and well behaved. Guess there were some poorly assembled examples
