A modified 2 door JK? I think they’ve done that.

Extended 6-8 inches resembling a 2003-2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ (Original Unlimited’s)

I’m a huge fan of the LJ’s and not that of the today’s 4-door Unlimited Wrangler.

Love my JL, but just wish I had the extra room in the back without going to four doors.

I couldn't tell it was lengthened...

The 2-door JL is already basically the same overall length of the old 4-door XJ. If you remove the rear seat, there's plenty of cargo area, at least for my uses. I got rid of a Ram 1500 QuadCab and was originally thinking that the 2-door JL would be even *smaller* than it is...

Wish Jeep would have Honda or Toyota build the Wrangler so we could stop saying (it’s A Jeep thing) to excuse any and every thing that goes wrong!

I would like to see Jeep build a wrangler with a high torque, long stroke four cylinder engine, naturally aspirated. Or a four cylinder Diesel (no turbo) I had a Ford Ranger with a Diesel engine ,stick shift ,close to 40 MPG. No issues. Loved that combination. I lost it when A Ford 150 T boned me . I also think it may be time to consider independent rear suspension, I have A kubota side by side with independent rear suspension that works very well. I love those slow turning deep breathing four cylinder engines but that’s me, My Jeep is my hobby car. my everyday transportation is a 2018 Honda Ridgline with about everything they offer on it .so I may look at Jeeps a little different than someone that drives theirs everyday.

I would truly love to own a vehicle with minimum of electronics incorporated in its mechanical system. I will keep modern USB / bluetooth audio , communication set up and I will opt for fuel injection but the rest of the computer operated crap i do not care for at all.
Engine choice would be straight 6 between lets' say 3.5 - 4.5 litres without a turbo . One of the best engines I ever run was a straight 6 cylinder 3.3 L that was powering the old Ford Fairmont .
