Mine measures 44" front to back and 38" side to side at the base. The top platform the top rides on minus the extensions measures 33" side to side.

Kinda veering off-topic here for a moment, but man does that 10A Rubicon look great. It's kind of a shame that they couldn't have just left that appearance package solely for that one model and not eventually made a half-dozen other packages out of the same parts.I still have the Lange from my JK installed hoping it will work for the JL. I noticed the gap between the rear glass and top when open is smaller on the JL. If it doesn’t work I’ll just update the frame with a JL specific one. The hoist will work on anything.

Racor Lift from Amazon.

It looks like the price went up since I bought mine, but it works great for both the hard and soft tops. Freedom panels sit on top of the hard top. Soft side and rear windows lay flat on a piece of cardboard sitting on the soft top. It's just the Racor lift, some straps, some foam zip tied to it, and a few pieces of cardboard to prevent rubbing.

I used my TopLift Pro to remove my JK 2 Door hard top today while I wait for my 2 door JL. I have an electric hoist mounted on my garage ceiling, but it doesn’t compare to the ease and convenience of the TopLift Pro. I totally get the cost thing, but some things are worth it. Whatever you use, get that top off and enjoy your Jeep!Just ordered my racor lift. $200. Use the drill to lift and lower is almost like an electric hoist for hundreds more. This racor lift seems super easy to handle the top and your freedom panels can sit on top to boot. I can't see myself spending $1,000 including shipping on the TopLift Pros even though the tech is a thing of beauty. Kevin over at TopOff says their JLUR product won't be available until late 2018. Need something for summer 2018 so Racor it is. Will post pics once i get it installed in May.
Using the Racor with the JL the back window has rubber insulation that I fear will get damaged if running the straps through the back of window opening to the front of the top. What do you all think? The sides, one on back side and one thru front side, appears to be the best way without damaging the hard top. Minor concern is that may not be secure enough since the top is just resting on the straps.I just bought this "Racor" off Amazon for $150. I have a high garage and this will keep the top out of my way. I put plumbing insulation on the sides for padding. Once I have my JL in the next couple of weeks, I will post a video. Here is somebody's video with a JK:
OUCHAnd the TopLift Pro price just went up $50.................
I also have the Racor lift (found a brand new one still in box on Offer Up for $30 FTW) but I plan on pairing it up with Topsy Hinge Hoist Brackets They have the prototype for the JL so its just a matter of time.Using the Racor with the JL the back window has rubber insulation that I fear will get damaged if running the straps through the back of window opening to the front of the top. Any ideas?
Hoist brackets would be a very nice addition to the Racor lift. So that link you added is not for the JLU right?I also have the Racor lift (found a brand new one still in box on Offer Up for $30 FTW) but I plan on pairing it up with Topsy Hinge Hoist Brackets They have the prototype for the JL so its just a matter of time.
That is correct, that was for the JKU...just wanted to link something to illustrate what I was trying to describe. I messaged them and they told me that they have the prototype and will get things rolling after Daytona.Hoist brackets would be a very nice addition to the Racor lift. $950 + $150 shipping for top lift pro. That's crazy.
