Does anyone else take out the plastic tub? It's just a waste of space.

I carry my recovery gear in a separate bag, first aid kit behind the drivers seat in a molle bag and toolbox under the rear seat.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Bottle Jack w/ Axle Buddy
folding shovel
Winch Controller
Stackable jack base
1/2" drive torque wrench
3/8" ratchet
assorted SAE/Metric sockets, 8mm allen socket
couple screwdrivers
Vice grips
Channel lock
Jumper Cables

Carry my Viair compressor, sway bar ratchet/wrench/socket, tire deflator, tree protector, snatch block, tow strap, zip ties in a separate tool bag when I plan to run trails.

Amazing how much stuff you can cram into that storage bin, think I still have some room for a few more small things, lol.

I have a bunch of misc. tools, zip ties, a hammer, a saw, a wrecker bar and a strap. Odds and ends I think that might be useful on the trail or wherever. I also keep a bottle opener in there too...you never know!

a 14 mm wrench incase I need to remove the license plate mount to be able to remove the spare tire, a ratchet strap, zip ties, a razor knife, and a tree saver. Basically all the stuff I try not to use.

Mostly the same as everyone else here, but here’s my list. It’s a tight fit, but the lid usually closes. I also use the leftover space in the cavity where the Jack is.

  • Assortment of torx sockets

Cutter? Why would you ever need them, at least that's what I thought. Found this feral goat caught in a snare. Poor thing had been snared probably for several days. Luckily a guy in the club had cutters and we let it free. The left ear points to the black wire it's snared with .

As a retired cop I agree. One can never have too much ammo. But the conversation was what do you carry in your storage bin...100 rounds should be enough for an average Jeeper. Plus, I was partially kidding hence the :CWL:

I can attest it doesn't take long to empty 3 magazines in a gun fight. Usually kept my AK-47 in the trunk with PLENTY of full mags just in case :flag:

Tow strap, D rings, folding army shovel, Winch gear, and tree anchor strap... pretty much fills it up

Usually it's how many is in a box. 50rds, or 100rds.

Unless you need to use a few..... :bandit:
I was thinking like one spare hi-cap mag or 2 low cap mags would be more than 10-9 probability of needing that much and the space 100 rounds takes could be better used for something you might likely need more, like beef jerky, power bars or another strap, or..., well I guess there is some possibility of getting into a Ruby Ridge situation. But only 19 rounds total were fired there. But then, I've taken 500 rounds on a pheasant hunt where the total bag limit is 9 birds in possession. LOL
