What do you miss having from your previous vehicle that the JL doesn't have?

I'm kinda missing the fabric wrapped roll bars. I know that the JL has the snazzy car colored metal bars and this is allegedly highly requested and supposed to be "better" but I actually liked the thick cushioned roll bars. I'm ok with the JL bars but I prefer my JK roll bar dressing. Aside from that I don't miss much else! The JL has the creature comforts I missed and I spend a lot of time in my Jeep. I do landscape photography and i don't "off road" but i'm typically "off road" a lot when I'm on a shoot. Definitely getting the winch for this one bc I've been stuck or had trees in the road and in the middle of nowhere with no help around.

Nav system, cooled seats and heated steering wheel. Will likely upgrade uconnect in future when 8.4 comes out as after market.

Oh... and the sunglass drop down holder.

But hey... love my Jeep!!

Once I say goodbye to the Silverado when my order gets here, I will probably miss:

- Cooled seats (love them after playing a round of golf in the summer)
- The availability of having a truck bed at my disposal (great for vacations...just put everything in the bed and have a retractable bed cover)
- The power of the 6.2L
- Rumble of a V8 with a Borla Exhaust
- The room of a Crew Cab
- Possibly less reliability over what I currently have (although...GM isn't a Honda)

But I think they will be short lived. I've wanted a Wrangler for years, and knowing I have top down/doors off outings and offroading in my future makes the items listed above much less important. :)

Better gas mileage...:headbang:

Edited - my previous vehicle was a Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid Touring...not great gas mileage, but good at around 30 to 33. Right now, I'm getting 17 last I checked.

An automatic windows up function. The automatic down function is good but it would be even better if it had an automatic up function

Yeah as far as small gripes go, my previous vehicle would maintain cruise control on even if I turned the engine off and restarted. Meaning I could be driving at any time and simply set the cruise control without having to first turn it on and then set.

First world problems.

Coming from a 17 Outback 3.6R Limited.
-miss adaptive cruise control. Fantastic in traffic.
-collision auto braking, blind spot monitoring
-smooth engine, lots of pull.
-proximity key - didn't think I’d miss that, but I do!
-Sub Nav was fidgety, don’t miss that
-miss that I got a fully loaded Outback for $37k

Some of these I could have gotten with Jl, I know.

Wife has a 17 Outback 3.6R Touring, so I can still drive that from time to time.

But happy with Jeep.
