Besides the oblivious lights, just curious what everyone else’s has connected to their switches.

Right now I have 1 for 4 front cube lights, 1 on a front 20” light bar, and 1 on 2 rear cube lights.

I am curious about the winch. I have mine wired direct to battery. It has a switch right on the front (warn xeon 10s platinum). Why have some folks wired it to a switch? I don’t see the need as I switch it on or off on the winch.

Curious to learn. Thanks!

The winch isn't actually wired to the switch directly but a solenoid is installed inline with the heavy positive wire to the winch. The solenoid is then wired to the Aux switch so the winch positive cable can be switched hot. The reason for doing this is mainly safety .. to avoid having a heavy gauge wire continuously powered hot running to the front of the vehicle. In the event of an accident or worn sheathing there could be a lot of amps running shorted which is a fire hazard.

Thank you

The fire hazard point is a great one! I think I will change mine to add the solenoid

What is the best solenoid to get?

could one of the auxiliary switches be used for a added sway bar disconnect?

Is this the twin ARB compressor? If so how did you mount it here?
Its only the single and it was ARBs portable unit. (CKMP12). I couldnt justify buying a new compressor so i repurposed this unit. And the single works fine for my 33" tire needs. Its mounted using a custom braket that uses existing firewall bolts. Located under powersteering unit. The bracket will fit an ARB twin. There are possible issues with the bracket if you have or plan on installing changes to your stock suspension (shocks) but the gentleman whom i purchased the bracket from has a new bracket that will handle the twin ARB in a different location
