The problem with Jeeps is that there isn’t another comparable vehicle. The closest thing is a Ram 2500, but the longer wheelbase and much heavier duty parts on the Ram smooths everything out.

I am a decade behind you, age wise, and I agree with you completely. I also feel the comments about the JL being more “finished” than the JK are accurate as well. I am happy with every aspect of my Jeep.At 68 years old I ordered my first Wrangler and love it. So everything in the Wrangler is new to me but I think the OP said it best: I love the dash layout and everyone I've shown it to has remarked positive about it.
Again, new to the Wrangler world and they may all have done this but I love the ability to open the tailgate without raising the rear glass.
The auto-dim function of the rearview mirror can be disabled in the settings menus, no?...my old school rear view mirror that doesn't auto dim. I can't stand that feature because it doesn't really work well. I love the old school flip the lever and it works; perfect.
I honestly have no idea as I don't have it. My wife's Kia has the auto dim mirror; I've never dug into the menu settings to see if it can be disabled or adjusted so perhaps it can be. Nonetheless it does not have an easy to use lever to change the reflective angle of the mirror if it were to be disabled. The auto-dim function of the rearview mirror can be disabled in the settings menus, no?
I almost returned my first Jeep, a 2020 sport s because I couldn’t keep it on the road. The tires were inflated to 43psi! Once I lowered them to 37 all round I fell in love with my Jeep! That should be the first thing you investigate if you can’t keep your keep straight on the road! This guy never came back but I bet his tires are at 42 psi. I also bet that the dealership never even considered that.
