That is what I was wondering. I came to the same conclusion doing the math, but that doesn't match what Jeep lists on their website. I would assume if it starts at 74.5" and you put 35s on it, the Jeep would raise up to 75.5".
I will say that it has 3/4 tank of fuel and 5 BFG KO2s in the back plus a little added weight of the 35" spare. That could be the reason...or Jeep doesn't really know 🤷‍♂️

That makes a ton of sense. Probably an extra 300 pounds of cargo.

Might want to wait and update software first. Little birdie saying there is an option coming to allow 2WD only mode :like:

Now with “line lock”. Joe is getting some crazy stuff loaded up in new software. :like:

how about a 392 specific splash? That would be cool!

Curious did you go with 315 70 17 or 35 12.5’s
Looks great by the way and thanks for sharing..that is my vision for mine whenever I get it but appreciate you sharing! Enjoy your beautiful ride!
Kirk, any chance you would be willing to share the width & diameter of your wheels? (and maybe offset too if you know it?)
Love the way yours looks in your avatar. I'm trying to finally make a decision on some wheels/tires. I'm assuming those are 35 x 12.50 tires?

Hey Bryan, I just wanted to mention, that although Jeep does list the 392 as 74.5, they list all other versions of the wrangler, from a Sport, to Sahara, on up to a Rubicon as 73.6. So I'm not sure how accurate any of those overall height specs on their website are.

Looks like the real world & a tape measure are going to be only way to know for sure.

Hey all, I've seen tons of people mention the "Tazer" throughout the last few months, for a variety of purposes, but I'm curious, does installing or using one invalidate your warranty?

I'm considering whether or not to buy an extended warranty, so the last thing I want to do is something that could mess with that.

Thanks

They are Vrock Recoil 20x9.5. -5 offset. Correct on tire size.
here is a better shot.

My experience is with my RAM Rebel using the Tazor. Simply unplug when you take it to dealer for service work, they are none the wiser. Lots of great upgrades with Tazor and I’ll be adding one to my 392 for sure.

Best I can tell from using a measuring tape with the wheel still on, BS is the same ~6.125”as the stock Rubi wheels.
Will have a better answer this weekend, if I’m off on the measurement, it’s not more than .125-.25”

Hey Eli, I'm a bit confused, I thought the backspacing on the standard Rubi was 4.5? I take it that is not the case? And if it isn't, where the heck did I get that number from then? 😄

Hi Rob,
The BS on the original Mopar Beadlock Wheels is 4.4”. These are the black painted wheels with silver rings.
These were necessary for wider diameter tires as the stock Rubi wheel backspacing is about 6.125”.
The 392 Beadlock wheels (Bronze wheel with black rings) have the same BS as the standard Rubi wheels which is what a few suspected given production regulations on how tucked under the wheel well arches wheels need to be.
