What distinguishes a 2 door Wrangler buyer from a 4 door Wrangler buyer?
First thing for me is # of passenger, ie my family. Next up is ride quality - many years ago I found the 2 doors had a rougher ride, still the case?

Yes they ride rougher than the 4. I have a 2 door JK and came from a 4 dour JK and going back to either a 4 door Recon or 4 door JL Rubicon.

I have enjoyed the 2 door because nobody has them so mine stands out and I get way more compliments because of that.
So THAT is why you drive it, to get "Compliments?" I say drive 2 dr or 4dr, whatever fit's your need, and not what you feel impresses others. But that's just my practical midwest attitude oozing out.

Not really, but its nice that people recognize the work I put into my Jeeps. A 2 door works, but I want more space so I may get a 4 door, but not so sure about this 1st run of JL's. I definitely don't need the tech and the Recon will go anywhere the JL Rubicon will go.

I like the longer wheel base for a little smoother ride, plus I think the 4dr looks better. Only with the hardtop, 2dr looks better with the softtop. IMO.

4 Door Jeep guy here. Dont get me wrong I really like the 2 door models. My buddy has one and I really did try my best to fit 2 full size Hockey bags and sticks in the 2 door while my kids were in it. Sadly that failed misserably and I had to go the 4 door route. However almost 4 years later I dont regret it at all. I have been able to put larger items in the back to move them around. something I would not have been able to do in the 2 door.

2 door is for college kids, people with other cars at their disposable, and those who don't carry passengers frequently. 4 door is for everyone else. My partner and I don't have kids but we go camping, fishing, snowboarding, surfing etc. Need space for gear, to sleep in, and for the doggos to be comfortable in the trunk area. Can't imagine getting any of that done with a 2 door.

Oh... sometimes the in-laws ride in the back. Bonus for me that the passenger seats aren't comfortable.

4 doors - extroverted, social, has friends, all around fun person to be around
2 doors - introverted, no friends, doesn't have anyone to drive around, insecure, always grumpy, has napoleon syndrome
That is so funny!

Resurrection COMPLETE lol

Get both, both are jeeps, 1 can hold more shit/people(comfortably), 1 is better if you drive solo, with a dog, or 1 passenger.

2dr shouldn't come with a rear seat, my TJ had no back seat.

If you have kids get a 4

You do know if Jeep never made the 4dr, we wouldn't be driving wranglers now right?
4dr saved the wrangler, to hate the 4dr is assanine
