Is that a smile or a growl?

Funny pic :)

One of our dogs smiles anytime he gets excited(Anytime he meets someone new, or I have a treat for him.) Everyone always cracks up at the dopey smile he gives them when they first meet him. It's hard to capture in pics b/c he just looks kinda mean, but it's the exact opposite..

Smile, he's a big dopey dog. I don't think I've ever seen him show his teeth out of aggression. If any of my dogs showed any aggression towards my family they would be gone(I have 4 children age 10 and under.)
My Female is the Alpha of the house(Middle of this pic.) She is the only one that I know would protect the family if somebody were to break in or try and hurt us. The others would all run the opposite direction if someone ran at them screaming.

My dogs require a 4 door. My American Dingo loves to drive.

Looks like he's waiting for you to rig the winch so he can get out of that hole!

I might have a different perspective:

I've owned an '82 CJ-7 for decades. For those old enough, you may recall the CJ-7 being poo-poo'd by the Jeep community as "too long" and less maneuverable than the CJ-5. If you've never had the pleasure, a CJ-5 can turn so tight it can almost touch its own tail... but if you're much more than 6' tall, you aren't really fitting in that thing. So I got a -7.

I've stayed with that vehicle all this time. I'll tell you what I thought wasn't a real Jeep... WRANGLERS. :)

But once I retired from the Navy and started running with a local Jeep club, I started to see things differently. Of 50 Jeeps in the club, I was the only CJ and the only carbureted engine. I immediately saw just how amazing the modern Wranglers are. Just trying to keep up with them on the highway was difficult and I have a 5 speed. Once we arrived, I assumed the 4 doors would get parked or do some very limited work. After all, they're WAY too long and less maneuverable for serious off-road work, right?

Well, I was schooled again. Sure, the length is a disadvantage over peaks and transitions, but it is SUCH a stable machine in the mud and going up a steep hill. The trail leader was a 4 Door and took us to places where several two doors fell out. Then he'd stop, and out would pour kids and dogs and picnic supplies for the group. Seriously, the modern Jeeps are amazing machines, including the 4 Doors.

So... I'd never give up my CJ, but I am now looking at a 4 Door Rubicon. Do you think she'll be jealous?

We ordered a 2 door for my wife. 2 door is perfect because our 2 dogs are messing up her Jetta. The rear seat will be removed most of the time. Also it is really our fun vehicle as we have a Ram for our principle vehicle if we need to haul stuff and more people. Also, her cars have always been manual trans as is this JL. Seems like a real Jeep to me.

Looks like a Doodle!
Good eye. She is a lab-doodle and her older brother is a golden-doodle. They are mixed so they don’t shed. They ride with me everywhere, so it’s nice to have a hair free Jeep.

I have two doodles, along with my horse dog. They are a great breed!
