I never even thought about the implications until I drove my RS-5 to Taos just after buying it. It was my first vehicle with adaptive cruise. Completely warped the front rotors on that first trip descending from Colorado to New Mexico.

$4,800 to replace the pair of rotors. So no, I no longer use adaptive cruise when descending mountains.
A rotor replacement job should run $500-750. Why so much?

Back then the RS-5 had the same engine that they put in Lamborghinis. Oil changes were ~$800, apparently due to having to suck the oil out through the top of the engine. Everything about it was stupidly expensive.

Note that I had all options other than the "expensive" brakes. Those were an additional $10k. I bought it used with 6k miles on it after that massive initial depreciation was done.

My jeep needs a trickle charger in the winter.

Had my "Stop/Start Not Ready" msg showing for about 2 months. Dealer said "weather related" as we have been in low 20's at night and 30 to 45 daytime.

Bought a 2A charger off Amazon and let it stay attached for a day. Right off the bat this morning, Stop/Start was "Ready".

Not of fan of running with ESS on (off about 98% of the time), but I want the functions on my jeep to 'function' when I turn them on (or off).

Yes - I have read the loooong thread on JLU batteries. :(

the rear sensors in the tailights work fine to alert of vehicles if your rear bumper sensors are disconnected.

The rear sensors in the bumper, are omnidirectional, they can point any way, but, the bezel mount which holds them only allows one direction, which is fine.

That the radio volume in my JLU gets louder the faster I go....and that there is an actual setting to confirm it!

If you have a CEL (Check Engine Light) on, your remote start will not work.

Also, to get the most HP, you need to be in 4H. Can anyone confirm this? Is it okay to drive in 4H on a consistent basis?

That there is a matching set of vents at the top of the windshield... I went to move my parking tag from the rear view mirror and felt air blowing down...

Generally, when driving on the street, according to your owners manual, 4H “…provides additional traction for loose, slippery road surfaces…”

And it’s not ok to run in 4wd on dry pavement.

Those Wranglers with part-time 4WD should engage 4HI only for as long as necessary, and only when driving conditions allow the front tires to slip a bit when turning so as to prevent or minimize tire scrubbing on the road surface.

Even if the vehicle is equipped with Auto 4WD, that should also only be engaged as weather conditions compel.

Read your Owner's Manual.

When high beams are on they can be turned off by pushing the turn signal lever forward. Until last night I had always pulled it back to turn high beams off.

Can't do anything but Auto 4WD and part time 4WD on mine.... So don't have a choice to not ruin it in one or the other.

I have always found it strange though that your not supposed to use 4WD on dry surfaces but it seems to be OK for it to be in 4WD on rocks out west.

I had owned my then-new JLU for several months before discovering that the high beams could be extinguished by pulling the turn signal stalk toward me in the usual flash-to-pass manner. Previously, I was pressing the stalk forward to turn them on and off.
