I had this conversation with a buddy of mine tonight. He asked me what I call my Jeep, and I said, "The Jeep." We talked about it for a few minutes, and realized that neither one of us has actually given a name to a vehicle. It was always the women in our lives who named our vehicles. I ain't got a woman anymore, so I just drive The Jeep.

Hell, it's already got its name written all over it, so I don't need any custom decals. It even has its name on my key fob and everything.

I ordered a Sting Grey Rubicon. I was thinking of naming her Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix) but don't want to remove the Rubicon decals on the hood. Not sure where to put the name at. Was thinking driver side in front of the door somewhere. Any ideas? Also not sure if the color is a close match. In the movie it's dark and sometimes appears greenish but may be from lighting. Figure a hovercraft can pretty much go anywhere like a Wrangler.

Mine is named 'KAIBLU'...

'Kai' is Hawaiian for Ocean / Water, etc.
'Blu', well -- that's self-explanatory, since I could only use six letters for the license plate.

And yes, he's an Ocean Blue JL.

Now that you mention it, I can totally see that. I don't really do country, but I do sing the blues. I've been thinking about selling off my dusty musical instruments to pay off bills and make room in the budget for wheels and tires, but I'd be selling off a piece of my soul if I did that. Far better to have inspiration again.
