Yesterday, I went to the RVA Jeep Wave meet up at Capital Ale House in MIdlothian, just south of Richmond. Surprisingly, I was the only JL there.

Nice set up! I was just in Utah visiting family over the week of the 4th! Was born in Murray, lived there for about 3 years and then we moved down to AZ, been here now for over 30 years. but all our famly lives in Utah still so we go up to Utah typically once a year. Wish we would have had more time to go exploring up in the Heber/Park City area. Got a big time celebration coming up in a week or so with the 24th! Love Utah...still is always in the back of my mind to want to move there, but all our immediate family is here in AZ ...eeek!

Anyway, enough about that...back to Jeeps. Was just wondering the set up you have? 2" mopar on 35's or 37s?

Participated in a Jeep/4x4 ride for a fallen trooper in my area. I think the count was 187 vehicles total with ~130 being Jeeps. The route took two hours and was headed up by a police escort.

I took a nice drive to southern Indiana on a beautiful afternoon to pick up a spare set of polished lip Rubicon Wheels either for my JK or to put on my JL a few years from now after beating the crap out of the ones on there now. (Then again, I might re-sell them, as I got a heck of a deal.) Anyway, I only knew the seller was at an office and that the Jeep they came from was a company Jeep. I thought that must be a neat company. Well, I was right. It happened to be the one and only Hi Lift Jack company, in Bloomfield, Indiana! I had no idea they were located there! I picked up the wheels and took a couple shots of my Jeep there before the drive home through the gorgeous hills and farms back to Danville.

By the way, I plan on keeping these wheels, but if someone were to offer enough green stuff, I might consider parting with them. Maybe. Then again, they might look good on my JK. I have 5 of them. They were taken off Hi Lift's show JLUR when it was brand new.
