Looks pretty built up for not doing any trails yet!Took mine to Truckhaven to test everything out and make sure I didn’t have any clearance issues or adjustments for the lines/hoses/wires/etc before officially cristining my jeep as rock-crawlable. And much to my delight, I didn’t see any issues that needed corrections. So, now I can’t wait until I get to take her out for her first real trail!
Haha, yeah.. I really think I dropped the ball on that one. I didn’t even think about doing such a thing to be fair. Afterhaving gone through this whole rodeo back in ‘12 with my old manual 2dr JK sport, I just bought a mountain of stuff for my ‘23 that I knew I would immediately want/need on it. There is still a whole swath of things I want, but all the basics (for me) are covered. I didn’t even take a bunch of before/after pics, which I also wish I had done. Dang it.Looks pretty built up for not doing any trails yet!
Where’s the build thread
My mind saw this as a brown Jeep and was wondering what kind of alien you ran over to cause that much green splatter.
Cleaning off mud sucks, but I thinks that’s the only color that looks good half covered in thick mud. I say keep it!We did Gooderham trail yesterday. Hulk got the muddiest he’s ever been as I worked my way out of a mud hole.
EDIT: note to self remember to roll windows up and close the roof next time you go through something that deep.
Also went off camber to 33°. One rig broke a front axel, likely while trying to yank a wrangler out of swamp.
I’m trying to get the mud out of the power top track. It’s a pain.Cleaning off mud sucks, but I thinks that’s the only color that looks good half covered in thick mud. I say keep it!
Well done. I'm careful to do the same, when circumstances warrant.Saved an Eastern Box Turtle this morning.
He didn't really need saving. That's a dead end road with little to no traffic but I wanted it's picture. Those little guys are cool.
