Your group? Map it out, down load off line mapping, pack some food, pew pew, water, PLB and head out. I am solo 100% of the time (I also carry a sat phone for extra peace of mind)..
Bradshaw is about as easy as it gets.
Red Canyon Jeep Trail is easy with a couple low end moderate sections. Nothing crazy.
Desert weather is here. Seize it!

I know nothing about kids. Can a one year old even hold its head up?

Is that is that the former Hazelton Adventure Park in Hazelton, PA?
I’m not sure. Rausch Creek is a little south if Hazelton in Pine Grove, PA. There’s also AOAA nearby. I haven’t been to AOAA yet.

I miss spoke…meant Paragon Adventure Park. It is right in Hazleton. I used to wheel there back in ‘98.

I enjoy having good company to drink with around a good fire. I do enjoy some alone wheeling but it’s not my thing. My one year old is pretty much walking around now. She’s a blast to have around while wrenching in the garage.

Well I loaded up the Jeep with everything to shoot and practice pistol shooting for 3 hours. I had my son and his girlfriend with me. Had a great time shooting and offroading there and back.

My wife and I drove up the hill to explore the nearby roads in the mountains. It was great with the top open (and the heated seats blasting)! We turned around once we started getting into too much snow/mud.

I'm really impressed with the RokBlokz mud flaps. Lots of mud on them, but none on the doors!

First time out on obstacles since the re-gear and putting on the 35s. The re-gear made a huge difference in 4-lo.

I also lost yet another pry bar in the parking area though. If anyone finds a pry bar at Rowher OR Cleghorn, they're mine. 🤦‍♀️

Needing a few bits & bobs, I drove to Manny, Moe and Jack's place.

I do still enjoy the novelty of the sound of rain on the soft top sounding like rainfall on a tent.

The Pep Boys stores in Pennsylvania are much nicer than the few old and rundown ones I have found here in NE Florida. But we do have nice O'Reilly, Advanced Auto, and Autozone all over the place, almost as common as mattress stores.

Coincidentally, the Pep Boys store in my photo is across the street from Auto Zone, which is itself just down the road a bit from Advance Auto.

------------

I was stationed in the Panhandle when I purchased my first stateside vehicle. Now having a car to care for, the Ft. Walton Auto Zone was my first exposure to the auto parts chains. I still have a clear memory of purchasing Castrol non-syn oil for .99/quart there, and then being a bit cranky at the idea of having to pay $1.19/gal. for 91 octane on my way back to Hurlburt.

That was Spring, 1990. A few months later, when the invasion occurred, the car sat as my squadron took on Mobility Ops and I was reassigned to deployment mgmt., etc.
