What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

installed redline hood dampers and the Lasfit auxiliary switch bank. KC Slimlites for the bull bar will be here tomorrow. Took my pup on a hike and then road around the north Georgia mountains.

Favor, when you set up your lights, could you do a quick write-up and take some pics of the install? I just got the LASFIT and am looking to get some lights in a few weeks. TIA!

How do you like the Redline hood struts?

The Redline Tuning hood dampers are excellent! The quality of the parts, packaging, installation and function are all top shelf. These are as nice or nicer than any OEM hood dampers I've had on vehicles. For people like myself that spend a lot of time with the hood up they are a must have, IMO.

I sincerely miss this about living in Alberta. I'm not a fan of the province's politics, but I sure miss being able to drive up to and through the Rockies in a handful of hours. My house to Jasper was 3 hours.

That's awesome! I've had a hood prop rod get jarred loose by wind before and the hood fell on me. Hood with prop rods are an accident waiting to happen.

The Jeep is a "quarter ton" Utility Vehicle, and every now and again must be reminded of the fact, by performing "tow pig" duties.

Anyone know why you cant have the cold weather package with the XR package on a Willy on the Jeep build site while they pair up fine on a Rubicon? Site glitch or is Jeep limiting parts on the lower trims?

I sallied forth to my Borough's polling location and attended to my civic duty.

... after which I went to have a new battery installed in my favorite skeleton timepiece.

Now feeling a bit esurient after the morning's endeavors, I steered the Jeep toward a new Mexican restaurant for a little nosh.

I rarely order dessert, but the lure of chilled flan drizzled with warm local honey was more than I could resist.

I like both. Black wheels really make the Firecracker Red pop. But the white wagon wheels are more interesting to look at. I get so many compliments from total strangers.

I agree, the white wheels are very satisfying to look at. The black wheels looked like just another kid with a rattle can.
