Wrong side of the country for me. But if anyone knows, I’m interested in learning more - it’s a cool build. Would love to see the process.

honestly from what I remember they basically just remover rear seat and put bench seats on both sides and an elevated one in the very back like a safari style with custom roll cage and cover

Yeah, I’m afraid I can’t add anything to what @SoCal said. Side facing bench seats over the rear wheels, tailgate removal with a rear seat assembly hanging out the opening.

You could try giving them a ping from their website: https://www.safarijeeptours.com/ — It appears they’re adding a JT model soon. My guess is there’s an Arizona builder who custom builds these for the tour companies.

HB is certainly an amazing colour, but I really wish I'd have moved on Bikini while it was available. In hindsight, I'm pretty sure what held me back was the fact that it would've been invisible for nine months out of the year up here.
Picking colors for vehicles can be so challenging sometimes. Well it’s never too late to make the switch. Haha.

Went to see a few waterfalls around Arizona. These two are Cibecue Falls and Apache Falls. Both are on an Indian reservation and require a permit but well worth the visit.
Cibecue Falls is a 1.5 mike hike up the river—crossing it several times and includes climbing over some boulders. Yes—legit boulders—not just rocks. Lol. Of course it is snake season so walking by so much underbrush and old washed up logs etc did have me scanning ferociously at times. Thankfully, no snakes were encountered. ESP as my so-called water shoes died before I even made it to the falls. Between walking barefoot then Jerry-rigging my sandals together to stay on my foot, if I had encountered a snake I’d of been toast 🤣. Thank God for Velcro. The falls are absolutely stunning and no pics really do it justice. You technically aren’t allowed to swim in the falls. But, of course, can walk out for pics ;). A couple was there when I arrived and the guy had swam to the falls and reported back there is a very strong undertow there. Not surprising though. Relaxed a bit then started my hike back. The hike there took 1hr 45 min. The hike back over 2 hrs. I blame my shoes.
Apache Falls is super easy to get to and you can literally drive right up to it basically. It looks like it’d be a fun area to raft or kayak down. Also a great spot to just stop and relax. Probably wouldn’t recommend swimming here as current is pretty strong.

Headed up to Santa Barbara for some hiking. It was perfect weather for a roadtrip.

Then I proceeded to lock my keys inside my Jeep. Womp womp. First time I've done that with the Wrangler. Anyone know if it's possible to copy the JL key but without the FOB part? just a flat key that only opens the door?

Yes. Take this key blank to a locksmith that is capable of furnishing router-cut keys. Have your fob handy since the flip-out key will be used to create the copy via your key blank.

If unavailable on Amazon, search for "ECS America, BL-CHRYS-03".

And remember not to lock your keys inside your Jeep. Womp womp. ;)

Wow, fresh snow! I love Mammoth! It's been raining in the bay area, so it makes sense there was fresh snow up there. Which trails did you hit?
15 inches of new snow. Took Owens river road south of mammoth and eventually came out at Smoky Bear Flats north of mammoth. There’s a maze of road in the area to check out.

Will do. I'm hoping to get it installed over Easter weekend.
Did you get to do the install over Easter? How'd it go? I wish I had bought one over Easter weekend when they were on sale. Now they are up to $650 :(

Pretty good aside from having to fight with the square nuts.

I did order a red Factor55 Prolink for it, though.
