Hats off to you. Much respect from Team Wiborn. Taking your kid on an adventure and letting her drive, that is how you make life long memories for her. She will remember it for ever. This is a perfect example of how good parenting is done. Having a Jeep and taking your kids wheeling is just awesome.Took my kiddo out on another Jeep ride. She loves to adventure out in the Jeep with me. We found some mud this time exploring around our cabin in Heber, AZ. It was the first time that we got the Jeep pretty muddy. We capped off the adventure with the kid getting behind the wheel (on my lap), and made a memory when she steered us toward the side of the road and through a muddy ditch that I wasn't expecting. I had to floor it to make sure we didn't get stuck. Always a win when I get to hear my kids laugh and have a good time. Makes Jeep life totally worth it.
TO give you an example of how long of an impact this can make, my kids.... at least in my eyes are now grown men. I took them wheeling and off roading all the time when they were kids. Now when ever they do make it back home, what do they want to do, go wheeling.
My 27 year old came home from Japan for the first time in three years, what does he want to do? Go wheeling of course.
My 30 year old son, drives 7 hours to hang out with us, what does he want to do? Go wheeling and introduce his wife to wheeling...
Just know, that we plant seed into our youth that goes with them as they become adults. If you want your kids to spend time with you as an adult, you have to spend time with them in their youth. They don't stay young very long and your opportunity to do this is limited. So hats off to those of you that do.
