Again, this is a great idea that I am going to steal. Could I ask what hammock you have? Just tried mine, and there isn't enough excess in the straps to support my rear. Stitching in some extra heavy-duty Velcro would probably work though.
Do you normally go more for burgers, fries, and hotdogs? Figure Firecracker was pretty much made to hide catsup stains. But then they'll grow up, and you'll need to trade for a Hella Yella.

This is the hammock we have. We keep it on full time above the rear seat. It does its job holding the kids (holds up to 200lbs i think) though it sags from use but it's cheap.
Haven't tried the greasy food yet. Have been staying with the subways of the world but i'm sure at some point other foods will be had. It does get messy, though. It was raining lettuce and potato chips onto the back seat from my 5yo eating.

After work took a detour home, wish i could say i got lost but in cali thats hard to do between the fences and all the underground border holes, always run into someone

It sure is! We here in CT were impacted by smoke from the west coast for about three days. I guess the winds were just right to carry it over us.

Long day. Broke front axle again. Needed tow out of the trail and home.
Will start taking it apart tomorrow to see what broke. Clunks and resistance when spinning passenger wheel, and no power transfer to that wheel.

Took my kiddo out on another Jeep ride. She loves to adventure out in the Jeep with me. We found some mud this time exploring around our cabin in Heber, AZ. It was the first time that we got the Jeep pretty muddy. We capped off the adventure with the kid getting behind the wheel (on my lap), and made a memory when she steered us toward the side of the road and through a muddy ditch that I wasn't expecting. I had to floor it to make sure we didn't get stuck. Always a win when I get to hear my kids laugh and have a good time. Makes Jeep life totally worth it.
