Went out for a pretty short run to the "Rock Garden" outside of chimney rock. Had only 1 fall out and one down a front driveshaft, but we got several new Jeepers their first experience off road!

Took the jeep to the mountains. Found a few trails. The jeep did well even in fairly deep snow. I did have some issues at first and couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t advance forward at all. I was in 4Hi with the lockers on and still wouldn’t do anything. Finally figured it out. I had forgot in 4Hi you have to turn off the traction control manually. In 4Lo it does it automatically.

Once I did that it pressed on without any issues. Lesson learned for next time. Lol.

Didn’t take a pic of when I was stuck in deep snow but here’s one towards the end of the trails.

Did Peter Mills run. Usually a tame trail but a ton of snow recently has made it a lot more challenging. Got stuck once. Long day, 13 hour behind the wheel.
