Looks gnarly. Hope you made it home safely.Took it out for the first snow test.
It was more of testing how wide tires perform in the snow and 2wd. 1st time driving jeep in the snow, had to see if it would be safe for my wife in 2wd (it's a PITA to shift to 4hi) . Have dedicated winter car with AWD, but it's always good to know if we are to take jeep out.Looks gnarly. Hope you made it home safely.
Thinner tires are generally better when driving in/through snow. What was your takeaway regarding the performance of the large tires on your JLU?It was more of testing how wide tires perform in the snow and 2wd. 1st time driving jeep in the snow, had to see if it would be safe for my wife in 2wd (it's a PITA to shift to 4hi) . Yes, it takes a firm pull to get to 4hi, my wife has abit of a difficulty doing it. And my shifter knob comes off if you are to pull up on it during the process (need to look into on how to tighten it)Thinner tires are generally better when driving in/through snow. A short and mildly firm pull on the lever puts my Wrangler in 4HI every time. Does yours have significantly more resistance?
