What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

The SE Georgia Jeep Club took a trip to Amelia Island, FL. It’s the only beach we can drive on. Had a good time... until some Broncos crashed the party. Not impressed.

While I'm waiting for my first Jeep to be built, I'm wondering, what CAN I do with my 2-door Willys? How extreme can I get with it straight from the dealership without any mods and without doing damage?

Jeeps/Wranglers are very capable stock. You got 4 wheel drive out of box. What do you plan on doing with it?

Yesterday we had some guys come up to run a trail. @Wabujitsu , @Drytellsr , @OrlandoJL , @Buckster and 4 other Jeeps not on the forum. The wife and I had a great time, these are a great bunch of guys.

Unfortunately, for some reason, between the time we scouted out the trail, ( last Sunday ) and Saturday when we rode the forest service, graded and filled in two of our best obstacles....... Not sure why yet, we’re looking into it.

But we made the best of it, and still was a good time just getting together.

Roky, I and my guys had a blast yesterday; thank you very much for hosting the trail ride again! I’m greatly looking forward to the next ride at the Hard Rock. I have to say though, my disabilities hurt like crazy today - but well worth it!

@Roky, I don’t know if you read my text from this morning. After leaving, just down the road from the WMA, I and a few local folks stopped and removed two downed trees from the road, in the rain. A very bad thunderstorm was moving through, and either straight-line winds or a small tornado must have taken those trees down. So, I DID get to use my winch yesterday!

We went back out today to see if we could run across some other groups to get more information on why they graded in our obstacles.

When we got to that first obstacle they filled in we found this......

I’m not sure what he thought he could do , especially coming into it from the backside. He said he thought he could push the mud out of the way...... ..... He’s not from around here, these guys are up from Tampa I think.

We asked if they wanted us to winch him out, but his buddy said “ no, I’m just gonna hook up a tow strap and pull him right out of there”. I said ok, and I would hang around to make sure they got out........

He got him this far but that was it.......

From here, I’m not sure what he was thinking, but he said I think I can drive right over it now, so this is how far he made it.....

So at this point , they decided maybe they needed to be winched out.....

We got him out and this was what he brought out with him.......

I told him if we did this a couple more times , we would have it cleaned out.......... he failed to see the humor in that..........He thanked me, and I told him I appreciate them trying to do something about it .....all good.....
