What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

It was a cold and windy day today, so I took the nice warm Jeep and drove most of the Rhino Rally motorcycle desert racecourse that was held a few weeks ago in northwest Arizona.

I just got done off roading again. Now to gas it up, and head east tomorrow to the superstitious mountains in Arizona.

Hey question for you. Any estimate what your MPG averages when you are off road? I know it varies depend on the elevation, difficulty, how big of a crowd you might be off roading with. Just a ballpark figure...

Picked up the trailer finally. Was supposed to grab it a week ago but got Covid. Loading it up and seasoning the Blackstone before heading out of town next weekend.

We headed up to the Manistee Nat’l forest for some wheeling and camping but it turned into a disaster. The trailer worked awesome though. Got through some pretty nasty ice/mud holes with it.

Went for a drive to Polihale Beach today. Very good friend of mine rented a Rubi for a couple of weeks. We went to see what we could do.

Was Big Bend awesome or what? Did the same two Novembers ago and had a blast with a group of friends. Camped south of Terlingua and took in the incredible starfield each night. Glad you go to do that with you son. Definitely a great bonding experience!

Used the winch to help my dad extract a 200lb concrete post anchor out of the ground that wasn’t fully dug up.
I’m pretty sure it’s the first time my dad has seen a winch in action
