So far. As I realize I’m an old man, I like the big screen more and more.

We then took the grandkids for a jeep ride in the neighborhood. They like standing in the back seat with their head above the roll bar and waving at the neighbors putting up Christmas lights and watching the ballgame in their garages.

Yes they are unbuckled, but we stay on residential streets at crawl speed.

As a youth, my friends and I traveled in the bed of a pickup truck countless times when being shuttled between Scout meetings, hiking trips, etc. Sometimes there was a cap on the vehicle, other times, not. Maybe there was a blanket or two back there when the mercury dropped. Good times.
