What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

I did nothing with the jeep today. Took the quad out for a 30 mile ride. This picture really tells you how hot and dry this area is.

Got a wild hair this morning around 10 and decided to run Gold Mountain. Loaded an ice chest, topped off with fuel and was at the gatekeeper by noon. Had some steady light rain for about an hour towards the top of the mountain, but it had stopped by the time we got to the trail. No issues other than me making a rookie mistake and forgetting to take my trailer hitch off. Caused a bit of a struggle entering the second rock garden, but nothing that a little more speed didn’t take care of. All in all a good day even with the mud and wet rocks.

Picked my old girl up from the veterinarian's hospital Sunday. The surgery was a success and they removed a 20cm tumour and her spleen. No visible signs that it was cancerous or had metastasized.

She’s been home resting, but was happy for another Jeep Ride.

This is one of the times I'm "happy" to not have cash to spend on the Jeep. Between the younger GSD nearly dying from a herniated diaphragm and needing emergency surgery, and now the older one needing the splenectomy, I'm down and out for a few months, maybe even a year.
