Took the 4xe up an unnamed trail at Hatcher Pass. It was pretty dry but plenty of loose rocks and boulders to provide some challenge. The torque really is awesome crawling up rocks from stand still and no wheel spin. The KO2's aired down to 23 did really well, I'm glad it wasn't any more muddy though!

Once on top of the mountain, got a good shot of Denali (ne. Mt. McKinley) on the horizon.

And Cook Inlet and Anchorage 4,000 ft below the Jeep here

My Jeep and I took my angel to be put to rest. My 18year old lab and best friend is gone. So happy to have gotten the chance to roll the windows down and let her feel the fresh air one more time in the Jeep. This is my jeep dog.

So sorry! One of the most difficult life events to go through. Beautiful fur baby who I am sure had a great life. God bless.

Tell me about your Jeep, tire size, lift and size, etc.
The Rubicon is on my bucket list, didn’t make it there with the old CJ5, but hopefully I can with either my wife's JLURD or my JTRD before long.
2019 JLUR, 3.5" lift mostly rock krawler, 38" milestar Patagonias, fox 2.0 shocks, asfir oil pan skid, metalcloak fad skid, synergy flipped drag link and raised track bar bracket. Definitely the most built Jeep we've ever taken through the trail. The wife's WJ with 4" lift and 31's was the least built and most work. Subsequent trips on tons and 35's were smoother. My 89 xj on 35's was fun. 04 TJ on 35's was fairly easy, as was the 08 JK on 35's.

Coffee video for looking at winches. Good info.
Interestingly, the smitybilt units are only $50-$75 more than the budget Rough Country.

Yea, Trail Built ran both winches for few years and the RC stood toe to toe with the Warn as far as durability and no issues they didn't cause. It all depends on how hard you would be working them and how much you want to spend. Like the guy said if you have to replace the RC 5 to 6 years down the road you still come out ahead. I just wanted to watch and see what their results were compared to the warn.

I believe @Roky uses a Quadratec Q- Performance Stealth 10 winch. Not sure steel or synthetic rope but I think he said once he was happy with it. Steel $599 Synthetic $799 for 12,000 Lb not bad price.

Yeah, I would buy it again for sure…….. it’s got 13 recoveries on it ( mostly spring break kids from outta town that think they can take moms minivan or dads 2 wheel drive truck down these sugar sand roads…. ). I’ve stretched fence, and pulled down trees after storms, it’s never missed a beat…..

Where’s the fun in that? :(

We drove mine to church today.....then treated it with 22.130 gallons of unleaded.......$97.13 worth....afterwards.

Its tucked away in the garage as well, until we decide to take a little drive later on.

I believe I was pushing the range based on 22.130 gallons pumped and a 21.5 gallon advertised capacity.
WOW Impressed with the 22.gal fillup. ive yet to ge past 18.8 as my light is on for quite some time just to get that far into the fill up. LOL

Testing things out with the rooftop tent (sway bar not disconnected). Definitely different doing this with a manual. :whew:

My wife and I went down to the Corpus Christi, Tx. area for the Holiday weekend.
we had a great time.
Checked out the Fulton Mansion, Went on the Ferry from Aransas Pass to Port Aransas, Went Cruising the Beaches, Lunch at Snoopy's. Just had a great time watching the fireworks over the water. On the way back. Stopped in Schulenburg, Tx. and picked up some kolaches at the Kountry Bakery.

It’s been at or near 100° here in central AR lately but I couldn’t resist taking the doors off for the first time.

I have to say, that first time driving without doors was a weird sensation. Kept trying to close my non-existent door and it felt like my Jeep was about as wide as a canoe. Lots of fun though.
