Seriously. I've a new set of tube doors waiting for installation, and our neighborhood's annual Mother's Day Weekend yard sales are going to be rained out. Again. I wish the organizers would just push the date to a weekend in June.

Packed up the Jeep to head out in a few hours for Joshua Tree including a few moderate-difficulty rated canyon trails. Something hopefully exciting but not scary for the girlfriend.

I just removed my half-doors but left top off. Put doors back on.

Going to try this way during this late spring heat wave starting Saturday. Upper 90's weekend and mid-90's all next week.

If AC blowing on me doesn't work the top goes back on. I love the open air but when sweat starts on forehead that's it. I normally can make it till June here but hope this is not a sign of hot summer here. Jeeps been naked most of this winter.

Nothing special (had a busy day of spring yard & backyard cleaning) so used it for the little time I had today to bring my folks some yard equipment they needed to borrow.

So decided to snap a pic as I walked back to the Jeep as The shadow from the tree made it seem like it had some crazy decal on it.

to me it did anyway 😂

I found some mud and then cleaned it up. The buckets are how much mud I got off it with just my hands before I started spraying it. I still need to do the interior. After two hours on the outside I was done for the day.

My 4x4 club has historically done clean up on the boundary road trail in Ontario’s Durham region each spring. We’ve missed it the last two thanks to COVID-19. We officially adopted the trail this spring.

A local company donated a skip, one of their drivers volunteered time to drop it off and pick it up. We spent the four hours we had access to it cleaning up the first 1.5 - 2km. We picked up household trash, construction debris, car parts, tires and rims, and more.

Went and rode the local park Notthwest OHV in Bridgeport TX. I was hoping to put the new belly skids to the test and to that end was very successful!

Rode a new trail today, Zone E Trail 103. Circled in red below.

This trail is full of 3-4ft boulders and ledges. It gave a full workout to literally all the armor on the bottom of my Jeep, the wheels, the winch, and my toes! Took four separate winch pulls to get over some of the obstacles without door damage.

There are two more of these level 4 trails that start from this same area in the park. I hope I have enough toes to get through them all!
