I didn't do anything with the Jeep itself today, but I did spend a bunch of time dicking around with video editing software and previously recorded drone footage, in order to put together an improved "trying to make the video as fun as the wheeling was" video. I'm getting there. I still haven't gotten license plate blurring to actually work predictably in PowerDirector 365, and I'm contemplating spending the $$$$ on Premiere Pro. I should probably save the cash to pay for Jeep upgrades though.

Bridgeport is closed this weekend and I didn’t want to drive 2.5hrs+ to the other options so we went and drove some gravel roads out near Thurber TX.

The roads are all really well maintained and there is some nice scenery out there. Any time cruising with the top back on dirt is better than sitting at the house.

Wife probably had to dig deep in the closet to find a sweater lol. Something is wrong with the weather, 40s in central FL and 80s in TX. Nice pics. Looks like a fun place.

Well, if it’s cold you want....
For those not knowing Celsius temps -40* C =-40*F. It’s -41* with the wind this morning. Cheers!!
We finally received our first snowfall this morning (48 hours late, lol).

Anyhoo, I too am anxious for Winter to make a showing. It forces a natural quiet upon the landscape that I forward to engaging with...and now that the JLU is wearing studded footwear, all the better.

Last February, when the all season radials did their best impression of an old standard.

Wish Texas just had places like that to just go riding. Some landowners here would fill you full of rock salt.

Got everything smoothed out today and the vent decals on. Before I ordered my jeep like most of us I considered each color, and I have nothing against any of the colors. White was a no way, I have owned 6 white vehicles and just didn't want it again. Nacho, red, no, little too much, hydro blue no, already have a Ram in hydro. Black, love jeeps in black but there has to be at least 10 just in my little neighborhood. Just not into gray, so no. So it came down to snazberry or sarge green. The wife liked snazberry but just thought it wasn't me, and my daughter agreed. So sarge green it was, I have no regrets I love the sarge green. However even before I ordered it I was pondering what possible colors could go with it besides the black which there is a lot of already. So dark green? Maybe, gray? Maybe then my wife suggested a brown or bronzish color. After some searching and eventually talking with Don at pixaldecals we decided on the bronze. Don not only runs an outstanding business and makes quality decals he it good with colors and has suggestions on what might work. Highly recommend pixaldecals.

Anyway I feel like my Willys is mine now. I don't think there is another like it or at least not that I have seen. The other thing with the factory Willy's decal is not being able to see it. I was talking to a guy at the store the other day standing right next to my jeep and didn't see the Willy's decal until I pointed it out to him.

I am very happy with it. Not to stand outish but at least you can see the Willy's on the hood and I added a couple, trying not to go overboard.

Not going to post on marketplace. Just FYI anyone in the DFW area need a nice Dana 44 DV8 front differential skid I just took mine off. Never been in the dirt. Only been on few months. I can't use it because it's in the way of mounting my driver's side Rock Hard LCA skid.
