I took a brief morning drive, solo, to listen to Christmas music and shore myself up for Christmas dinner prep that was waiting for my return (everything went well; much Yum ensued.)
On the return leg, I stopped at a gas station to redeem a winning $50 scratch-off lottery ticket that I put under the tree for my wife. This is hardly the first time where I've gifted tickets with decent winnings.
If there's a way to shift my luck from givees to the giver, I'm listening.

Yep, it appears a new record high temperature at DFW was set today. As of 2:42PM, DFW has reached 82 degrees.Man wish it was cold here.

went for a drive to Deland for lunch to celebrate xmas with the wife. Had a great sliced roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy and vegetables and salad at Cooks.
