Used the JLUR to slip away for the weekend with my wife and some friends to do some boondock camping. I know where there is a great spot on a lake.

We brought the chairs down to the waters edge for sunset. It did not disappoint.

We just drove from the Florida pan handle to Gatlinburg, TN and back with tube doors. Top back most of the way, safari mode some. The highway was a little brutal and we got a tad roasted but the drive through the Smokey Mountains was totally worth it.

I got banned from commenting on the “what did you do to your jeep” thread because I called Bruce Springsteen an asshole so I haven’t been as excited to post stuff in here anymore. But rest assured I am doing jeep stuff. Currently trying to figure out a B pillar chop for the orange jeep. Thanks for asking

Did some repair touch-ups on the solar panel. Put the old Bemco oven on the tailgate and put some leftovers inside, along with with a sterno-type burner:

Worked great, timer rang just as I was getting angry and overheated from poking the hood with a q-tip, and stopped for a nice snack.

Will add the oven for future trips.
