A ‘not-heavy right foot’...that’s the part I need to work on. Not a very fun mod though ;)
Oh, it takes discipline! :)

I continue to be impressed with the engine's everyday driveability, as well as its sheer level of scoot on those few occasions when traffic conditions required me to put my foot in it. Credit must be shared with the superlative 8 speed transmission, which is why I was careful to namecheck the 850RE in my preceding post. A great combination. 👍

Looking to connect on the trails in the Pine Barrens, haven’t been there yet, but will definitely go this spring/summer.

I took a drive in the rain to accept delivery of my Bronco.

But seriously, folks...

A few OEM bits were collected to shore up things for the 2021 riding season.

Meh, a lift and sliders that sick out from the body a inch or so, no dings for me.

Went on a trip through the Black Mountain, Opal Mountain and Inscription Canyon area near Barstow, California. First pics are a Now and Then from Inscription Canyon. First pic is from Desert Magazine, Nov, 1958. Next is March, 2021. Lots of Indian petroglyphs and some more recent carvings.

The very last pic says.... July 1874 A. Tillman S.F.

After I finished on adding some mods to my Jeep, I flipped back the Sunrider top and went for a drive. It was too nice in the Philadelphia area to sit inside.

Took a drive up to Big Bear. Didn’t have a second rig with me as I wanted to run gold mountain but that’s alright. Cruised around Holcomb and a few fire roads I hadn’t been on yet. Was pretty soupy but it was a blast getting the Jeep packed with mud. Guess I’ll be washing it today or tomorrow
