We got 10" of snow so had to go play in it - an iPhone 12 pro max gave it life for this. Enjoy

Gorgeous shots. Sucks about the phone though.

I wanted to get the dog out on some quail once this year. With the pandemic, we didn't do any of our trips to other states to hunt this year. So, after finishing the tub insulation project, I drug the dog and wife out to the Carrizo Plain Nat Mon.

We actually entered from Taft and up thru the trails over the ridge. When we got to the top of the ridge, I asked my wife if she wanted to drive. She drove for 3 or 4 hours on the ridge road and down into the valley. There's some pretty steep and loose trails on the ridge. We had it in 4 Lo and mostly drove with the diffs locked. The ZF auto was great. She drove, I opened and closed gates.

Great views of the San Joaquin valley, Sierras and coastal mountains, just by spinning around. But we didn't get into quail on the ridge. Still, I recommend the area to Jeepers looking for mild to moderate trails. All soft soil, no rock crawling. The ridge road is about 25 miles long, north to south, if I recall correctly. We drove about 15 of it, since we entered part way up it from the east side.

You're getting awfully close to the maximum fording depth there.

J/K. Great pictures. 👍
Risky. I wouldn't attempt that without a snorkel kit.

Picked it up from the dealership! It was in for the steering gear replacement for 2 weeks! 😫 so it's awesome to have it back!

Are all jeep's affected? I never received a recall for the steering box replacement....I own a 2019.... I was just at the dealer yesterday.... no recalls.... although she's pretty solid on the road with minimal roaming...
