Did that earlier this year before the first time that state was shut down. It was a blast and the kids loved it. I have relatives who still live their and tell me that basically very few are following the shut down this time. I don't know if that is true or not, but in Arizona our curfew is a recommendation.
When I was there the state park had re-opened, but I think it was at a reduced capacity.

My rear window is leaking. Is kind of funny before winter I thought it was just my imagination seeing water run inside. Never a lot of water just a few runs down the back window. Now that winter is full blown we have a lot of slurry like stuff on the roads to stop black ice now, now my back window it is no longer illusion but the dirt water is on the inside of back window in 3 or 4 streaks coming down. Anyone have a fix for that or is it a dealer issue.... hate dealing with the shops, man got to work.

Yes, I'm slowly working on getting all my stuff switched over to CA. I have the Vin Verification folks coming to the house on Monday. I have my temporary CA drivers license, but that's as far as i've gotten so far.

Not an easy transition. I was born in VT, moved to FL as a kid and moved to So Cal in my 30s with work. Quite a shock from FL :). Only there 3 yrs now last 15 in TX. Rig looks great. Good luck with all the transition. :like:

Would love to run across the desert in my jeep. Guess I will have to stick with snow!

Had a blast up in Sedona including knocking out Schnebly Hill (my first badge!), Broken Arrow, and Soldier's Pass. The views up here are amazing!

I took the Jeep and two of my boys to Turkey Bay ORV area in Land Between the Lakes, KY. My brother came along with his new Gladiator Rubicon and my nephew brought a Honda 4 place ORV. What a day it was!

First, the place is gorgeious. I've been there probaby 5 times before, with my YJ, JK, ATV's, and now the JL. Of all the wonderful places I've been, this is one of my favorites. It is not a huge area, but there are 800 miles of trails, including a nice long run along the shore, which is GORGEOUS!

The Jeeps amazed us, as always, but a special shout out goes to the Gladiator. It is stock, excep for a Bestop bumper and Badlands winch and a Rancho front differential slider, which was put to hard use. That Gladiator didn't hit the skid plates nearly as much as Id predicted. It also maneuvered through trees and tight trails FAR better than I thought. In fact, I think it did as well as my JK does, thanks to the improved steering on the JL/JT. I was frankly shocked. I'm not giving up my JL, but boy would I love to put a Gladiator in the garage next to it. I don't have that kind of $$, but I can dream, right? Anyway, here are some pics. I'll put a higher resolution drone shot in there later....

Btw, that Honda is a company vehicle for him. He owns 4Piston Racing, which is going to build custom hopped-up engines and parts for these things. It puts out a stock 110hp. He'll dial that thing WAY up beyond that. Should be fun to see what he does! They currently buid drag and midget racing engines. They are getting into these and will also wind up doing Honda outboard engines, too, I think. Bone stock that Honda was amazing. But for the $27k price, I'd just grab a JL sport 2 door 6 speed and save the money on the trailer. Lol!

Great pictures and glad you had a great time. Broken Arrow was fantastic when I went with my wife. We did Schnebly Pass trail to get the BoH, but I would do Broken Arrow all day. Sedona is one beautiful place. Hope the 17 wasn't crazy heading back to the Old Pueblo.

I drove the distaff portion of Haus Heimkehr to a quasi-local craft barn that specializes in all things Christmas. No purse is safe that so enters therein.

Afterwards, we drove to a hibachi restaurant to pick up some pre-ordered take-out (no dine-in due to continued social distancing restrictions).

It rained steadily for the sum of our driving time. If I'm honest, the novelty of the sound of rain on the soft top, quite similar to the same on a tent, began to wear off. Ah, well. The snow will be here soon enough.
