Met the coolest Ole Hippie in the county at least. He told me that this is a 1947 Ford truck that was used by the railroad company to take bonded shipments from the rail station to the banks, etc. He claims that its bulletproof.

Took our JLUR up to Big Bear for a light run over a few moderate trails with some high speed fire road “rally” race fun mixed in. All to test out her new larger tires of course. LOL

Went up and looked at some high alpine lakes. About 10.5k feet On the flat tops. The smoke from the wild fires was starting to come in on that second to last pic.

Went to Hollister SVRA for some trails. Went to the top lookout, trail going there is a one way lane on a cliff, so a bit scary when a car is coming down the other way. Training for Black Bear Pass I suppose lol. Coming down there was a downhill part with a bunch of steepish rocks, my rear passenger slipped and my rear bumper took full brunt onto the rock. Kudos to @lodoffroad destroyer bumper, aside from the nick on the spot it held up amazingly. I thought for sure I would have suffered more damage.

Very close! Actually the kid is my cousin, my uncle's son. He's the one that owns the white JT (and the one taking the picture). I treat him and love him as if he's my own kid though, as his dad took care of me a lot while I was growing up. My uncle always joke that this is my way of paying him back huh lol.

not the typical fun Jeep adventure, but pulled out 5 of these tree stumps this weekend. Not easy and battled a army of super indestructible hornets on the last one.
Now i just have to figure out what to do with them now, since I only dragged them into the cul de sac .
