Rented a cabin that was surrounded by great trails. Really the first time the Jeep has seen extensive off-roading. Had a great time

In my thoughts and prayers!What I did with my Jeep yesterday wasn’t exciting as muddling or camping.
I took my Jeep to my LAST CHEMO TREATMENT!!!
I’m a survivor. Cancer picked the wrong chick!
4-6 weeks of radiation is next. But That should be easy peasy compared to chemo.
Upward and onward!

We were all going a little Covid crazy so we had to get out; we decided to go play in some water since it was such a beautiful day. It was really great to watch the boys enjoy the trail, splash in the water and get to act like little kids again. We had lunch in a creek and at one point we were swarmed by butterflies!

Took a drive up Pacific Coast Highway today with the family. Found a great spot to enjoy the ocean from the back of the jeep.

You guys are really getting out and about. Love the adventure!Over the long weekend, we camped and crossed the U.P. of Michigan by trail. We went from South to North, basically from the bridge to Paradise by trail. There was less than five miles of blacktop roads.
We got in late to the first place we camped at.
First morning waking up at camp by a lake.
The view from our hidden camp site for the second night.
At the shore of Lake Superior.
Then headed back a cross the the Mighty Mac in the fog. It looked like the bridge to nowhere.

We have been out wheeling the last four weekends in a row. Will be home for two weeks, then gone for three weekends, then prep for a 4k+ trip to the Rubicon Trail and Moab in July. I am just lucky that I have a wife that says things like I need to be around a campfire or please take me out to the trails. Heck she made me sleep in the baby camper in the back yard on Friday night.

Went on a two night camping excursion with the family
... my beautiful wife, the 2 girls and a friend.
Loaded up the jeep with the gear, and what a difference packing for more than me and the wife makes .... we really had to reorganize our packing strategy to include the girls stuff....
Had a great time. Out of 3 days, weather was nice 2 of them.....
Spent time on the beach, walking around and playing games. Yes, I am still the washer champion of this family!
enjoyed a few cold ones....
and some HOT STUFF!!
had lots of fun and laughs...
the girls practically ate us out of house and home...
Day 2, cooler and rain coming in...
and it came
but the rainbow afterward was awesome!!!
sun came out after and we had a fire....
day 3, woke up to beautiful weather.... it was calm and soothing.
we left camp and took the scenic route back home.... found another potential tenting site by the beach...
It was e great weekend.... but on a sad note, there was a bear cub in the campground and it had to be put down.... it was hanging around the dumpster.... mom was nowhere in site....
I am a hunter but stuff like that still makes me sad.... it was unfortunate....
